The Courtroom, Coppers Tea Rooms, Leyland - July 6th 2013
On the hottest day of the year (so far!) the chorus and octet performed in a Victorian
building which formerly housed the police station, cells and courts. The high-ceilinged
courtroom, which occupies most of the upper floor, has wonderful acoustics and showcased
barbershop singing at its best. It was fitting that the chorus ended the programme
with Jailhouse Rock.
