BABS 30th Anniversary Convention was in Harrogate

In 2003 Simon Hilton had ceased to be Musical Director after a 3-month trial period that lasted 15 years. He was presented with a watch as a farewell gift. In May 2004 Jack Haslam accepted the post of Chorus Director and Phil Cuthbert became Director of Music.

In March Sounds Fun had an enjoyable trip to the 7th Annual Coleraine Music Festival.

Bernard received a BABS pin for 30 years membership.

The Chorus sang at the wedding of Calum and Sally Land, who wrote afterwards saying ‘we will be enquiring about your services for our 25th wedding anniversary’.

Convention was at Brighton.

The Red Rosettes celebrated their Silver Anniversary with a show in July.

17th September 2005 saw the marriage of  Paul McManus and Emma-Louise Phillips with many singers, including the Red Rosettes.
